The RUT956 is equivalent to the RUT955 (code NARTEL0002) . This version has a different but comparable chipset, the MediaTek MT7628 CPU, and does not support microSD cards (it does not have an internal µSD slot).

RUT956 is a highly reliable and secure LTE router with I/O, GNSS and RS-232/RS-485 for professional applications. The router delivers high performance and GPS functionality for critical mobile communications. It offers 4x RJ45 , RS-485 (6pin), RS-232 (DB9 socket) ports, USB-A port, 5x antenna connectors ( 3x SMA, 2x RP-SMA ), I/O input (10pin) and two SIM card slots , allowing you to use two different mobile service providers and build redundant 4G/LTE or 2G/3G connections with Failover and Fallback functions.

The router will find use, for example, in devices that need to be remotely monitored, such as vending machines, sensors in the energy sector, SCADA systems, public transport vehicles, or Smart City projects.

– Stunnel: an encrypted network tunnel, mainly for programs that do not support SSL. It allows connecting two networks via an encrypted TCP tunnel, or securing the operation of unencrypted protocols or daemons such as IMAP, MySQL, POP, IRC, and others. It adds TLS encryption functionality to existing clients/servers without any code changes.
